Jenna Hussey

A dedicated student of yoga for over seventeen years, Jenna began instructing classes in 2007. Her experience in the field of massage therapy profoundly informs her instruction of yoga postures and conversely, her yoga practice continues to evolve her understanding and awareness of body mechanics and self care.
 

Jenna has extensive experience working with beginners. Specializing in classes that focus on foundational yoga postures and principles, she has led countless introductory classes and workshops throughout her teaching career. She has a welcoming spirit and the ability to structure lessons so that newer students feel included and successful.

 

In addition, Jenna is a trained and experienced practitioner of TM and traditional forms of mantra meditation, and is also a long-time student of Advaita Vedanta and Indian philosophy. All this study and experience lends itself beautifully to her commitment to supporting herself and others in managing stress and finding connection, comfort, ease and freedom in both body and mind.

  • All Levels Flow to Music Unheated
  • Vinyasa Flow to Music classes focus on connecting breath to movement through a vigorous, continuous sequence of postures. We stretch and strengthen our body and spirit, and we calm the mind.

    We practice heated, not hot yoga. The studio is heated to approximately 80 degrees. The studio will feel comfortably warm, allowing you to safely stretch deeply. You will enjoy a detoxifying sweat from the athletic nature of the yoga. You will leave refreshed and renewed. Classes are set to music and teachers prepare their own playlists. Classes will vary to reflect the unique style and personality of each teacher.

    This class is appropriate for all levels of experience, and beginners are always welcome. If you are new to yoga, or if you have an injury or limitation, please let the teacher know, so he/she can offer modifications and give you extra support.


  • All Levels Flow
  • Vinyasa Flow yoga is a vigorous, athletic style of yoga. We focus on connecting breath to movement through a continuous sequence of postures. We stretch and strengthen our body, mind, and spirit!
     

    We practice heated, not hot yoga. The studio is heated to approximately 85-90 degrees. It will feel comfortably warm, allowing you to safely stretch deeply, and you'll sweat from the athletic nature of the yoga. You'll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

     

    Each class is a unique experience. Our teachers have a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. Classes will vary to reflect the unique style and personality of each teacher. That's the beauty of flow yoga!

     

    Class is appropriate for all levels of experience and beginners are always welcome. If you are new to yoga or have an injury or limitation, please let the teacher know so he/she can offer modifications and give you extra support.


  • Flow Foundations
  • The perfect place to begin!
     
    Designed for those new to yoga, Flow Foundations is a slower-paced class that teaches the foundations of a vinyasa flow yoga practice, with emphasis on listening to our bodies and progressing at our own pace. More experienced yogis or those coming back to yoga after an injury or after time away will benefit from our focus on alignment and nurturing our practice.

  • All Levels Flow + Let Go
  • Flow + Let Go is a balanced practice of a slow vinyasa flow plus a guided meditation. The combination of the two will relax and recharge you for the days ahead. Asana and meditation are two of the 8 limbs of yoga. The vinyasa practice relaxes your body, preparing you for meditation. Meditation steadies the mind leaving you with a sense of calm and inner peace. Come experience the benefits of mind-body connection. All levels of yoga and meditation experience are welcome.

  • All Levels Flow to Music . $10 Drop-in Class (Drop-in Only, No Online Sign Up)
  • We believe that yoga should be accessible and affordable.
     
    Our $10 Drop-ins are the same great classes and teachers, but at a bargain price; $10, cash only please. Memberships and class cards are also welcome.

  • 9.28.18 Acoustic Bliss: Live Music Flow with Seva
  • Join us for our monthly live music series with BCY's house band, Seva, and Jenna leading the practice. Seva is a musical marriage of acoustic guitar, bass, and percussion; inspired by world music and originating in jazz, the music specifically follows the class the way an accompanist might follow a singer.

    Class is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience and beginners are always welcome.

    Online pre-regisration is encouraged for these popular classes as they will fill up in advance.
