Brittney Burgess

Yoga has the powerful ability to create transformation. My yoga practice has supported me through some of the most challenging and the most joyful times in my life, and continues to be a beautiful reminder to love myself, challenge myself and take care of myself - a message I always seek to share with my students.
 

With a background in psychotherapy and sport psychology, I strongly believe that the mind-body connection is present at all times, and that every person has tremendous potential within themselves. Yoga has filled me with a self-acceptance, intuitive listening and the ability to use my breath wherever I am. As a teacher, I provide the dynamic tools that will help students on a journey to grow, heal, empower and ultimately transform not only their bodies, but their lives!

 

I believe in creating a community of joy and love, and I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to do this as both teacher and student through this transformative practice!



Brittney Burgess instructs the following:
  • Unheated All Levels Flow to Music
  • Vinyasa Flow yoga is a vigorous, athletic style of yoga. We focus on connecting breath to movement through a continuous sequence of postures. We stretch and strengthen our body, mind, and spirit!

    The studio is heated to approximately 80 degrees. It will feel comfortably warm, allowing you to safely stretch deeply, and you'll sweat from the athletic nature of the yoga. You'll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

    Each class is a unique experience. Our teachers have a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. Classes will vary to reflect the unique style and personality of each teacher. That's the beauty of flow yoga!

    Class is appropriate for all levels of experience and beginners are always welcome. If you are new to yoga or have an injury or limitation, please let the teacher know so he/she can offer modifications and give you extra support.


  • All Levels Flow to Music

    We practice heated, not hot yoga. The studio is heated to approximately 85-90 degrees. It will feel comfortably warm, allowing you to safely stretch deeply, and you'll sweat from the athletic nature of the yoga. You'll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

  • Element Flow Series: Earth
  • Join Brittney Burgess for the first of a four part, seasonal yoga series. These classes will vary from deeply grounding to highly energizing practices inviting you to discover and embody earth, water, air and fire in your practice and your life!
     
    Create the element of EARTH in this practice as you bring steadiness and an inner calm to your mind and body. Build stability, create strong roots, and awaken your connection to the earth. This class will empower you to slow down, root down and remember how steady you are when you stand in your own strength!
     
    Come for all or one or some!
